Yellow Line Studio, a Southern California based, independent media company, was founded in 2009 by a group of artists and entrepreneurs seeking to combine their track record of professional success, love of entertainment, and passion for social change to create a legacy – a new generation of entertainment professionals and media consumers, united and inspired by their shared stories to have a positive influence on their culture.
A sudden explosion derails an LA subway car leaving a handful of survivors trapped underground, but when they uncover a second bomb about to detonate, they begin to suspect that the terrorist is still among them.
Inspired by President Obama's call to people on both sides of the abortion debate to open the lines of communication and find workable solutions to the problem of unintended pregnancies, Yellow Line Studio started that conversation inside the safety zone of a fictional world based on real life situations.
In the psychological thriller Crawlspace, Jackie Sinclair is a former L.A. news anchor trapped in a lonely marriage who falls in love with a beguiling stranger on the internet. The virtual relationship soon turns dark – and Jackie begins to fear that her online lover is really her troubled husband, and that he’s going to kill her. In the film’s dizzying climax, Jackie must save herself and her family, or die in the shadows beneath her Malibu dream home. The original screenplay for Crawlspace comes from Christopher & Kathleen Riley, writers of the award-winning German thriller After the Truth, a film Variety called “gripping and surprisingly moving” and Germany’s BamS called “a spine-tingling masterpiece.”
In the moving comedic drama Coming To You Live, the pregnant daughter of a conservative radio pundit fights becoming a pawn when her mom’s liberal nemesis catches the two leaving an abortion clinic. This funny, painful, quirky story finds real compassion in the middle of the culture wars. The script is being penned by Matt Salisbury, head writer of Bump+, a web series about women struggling with crisis pregnancies that was featured in The Washington Post, FOX News, and PerezHilton.com on its way to over one hundred thousand views. Coming To You Live aims to continue Bump+’s mission of presenting strong, fictional characters to tackle controversial societal issues.
